    Description

    1938 Delco R-1141 AM/SW 6-Tube Working Radio
    Inspection was performed prior to turning set on. Upon inspection it was determined that the variable tuner needed new mounting grommets. New grommets were installed and tuner cleaned.(see photos)On/Off switch and station indicator control was cleaned. Pushbutton station selectors were cleaned and lubricated.
    On/Off switch and tuning dial operate freely. Radio powers up and is working condition. It is recommended that radio be electrically restored for continued use.
    Cabinet has some flaking of finish and minor scuffs and scratches. Dial cover has crack at lower left of dial.
    This would make a great radio for restoration.
