    Description

    W. H. Grindley & Co transfer decorated bowl measures approximately 1-1/2  inches high and 4-1/2 inches in diameter.
    CONDITION:
    Excellent condition. No chips, nicks, hairlines nor cracks. Some clear glaze crazing to bottom interior.
    HISTORY:
    Originally manufactured in Austria or Germany around 1905. This English example was made before 1915 as this Grindley mark was discontinued at the beginning of WWI in 1914. In America it was manufactured by Syracuse China in New York. Pattern was used by the Texas & Pacific Railway which was the southern transcontinental railway from Marshall, TX to San Diego, CA.
