Vtg WORKING PACKARD BELL "CALIFORNIA" STATIONIZER Wood Tube Radio C Description

$ 158.4

Availability: 57 in stock
  • Brand: Packard Bell
  • All returns accepted: ReturnsNotAccepted
  • Condition: Used condition and overall looks nice for age. This is tuned into a station and sounds ok with a little static...the tuner knob is a little stiff and turns but won't turn the tuner. All of the knobs turn a little stiff and guessing everything just needs a good cleaning/lube. I did not attempt to remove the chassis to look inside. There is some normal are wear. Will need a new plug on the cord. Selling for parts not working but guessing (hope) it won't take much to fix. There is some old newspaper stuck to the back.

    Description

    Vintage if not Antique Packard Bell "CALIFORNIA" Wood Tube Radio. I am just guessing that this may date to the 1940's. Physical description is clearly pictured.
    This is the first Packard Bell "CALIFORNIA" radio that I have come across...very cool looking.
    Radio measures about 14 1/2" wide x 7 4/4" deep x 8 1/4" high without handle and about 9 1/4" with handle. The handle looks like bakelite.
