    Description

    You are bidding on a VINTAGE and a bit RARE radio. This radio is by the Federal Telephone & Radio company and is branded as 'Brandes'. I believe this radio was produced from about 1946 through 1948. This is an AM and shortwave radio - 2 channel. The radio has a wood case but has plastic around the dial. This radio runs on tubes. Condition: the wood is good - has a few scratches. The knobs are good and the plastic around the dial and the dial itself is very good. If there was a light, it is needing to be replaced. This radio WORKS - takes a bit, but it does warm up. For the stations I could get, the volume was a bit on the low side - so, I'm not sure if that's a speaker issue or something with the tubes - regardless, it is a functioning, old radio.
