Vintage SUPER RARE 1939 WORLD'S FAIR Swans down Powder Puff "FLUFFIPUFF" Bloomingdale's NY. A souvenir from the 1939 New York World's Fair. A bi-colored swansdown powder puff, orange on top, blue on bottom. Never used, still in its original celluloid round clear box with lid. The powder puff has a matching orange and blue ribbon on top. The box reads Bloomingdale's New York on one side and New York World's Fair 1939 on the opposite side. On the underside of box is Fluffipuff, Reg.U.S. Pat.Off. The circular box measures approx. 2" H x 4" dia. The box and puff are in very good condition, with some minor wear to the gilt stamped wording on the box and slight dent in side of box. A super rare item for either the serious 1939 World's Fair collector, or for a rare Vanity Item collection. I have not been able to find any info on this Fluffipuff item when doing an internet search for years now.
