Vintage SHERMAN, CLAY & CO RCA Victor Model 7 SUPERHETERODYNE Console Radio. It is in overall good shape for its age.. It has a fine tuning knob and a speed knob built into one. It has three options on the radio. Short Wave Radio, Medium Wave Radio and one, Regular Wave Radio selection. It shows some wear and tear throughout, yet little significant dinging, no glass ring marks, and it presents very well. Some delamination in the veneer type plywood on the left side base foot piece (in photo close up), and the veneer above it. That would be the biggest issue. Easy fix for a carpenter/furniture person, I have not the time. Some minor dings and stains throughout, but nothing major. I have cleaned it with murphy's oil soap. No sanding and patch or puddy work. No re-staining. The plug cord has been replaced, but even this is quite old. I did plug it in to a wall socket. Doesn't blow the beaker. Some things light up, but not all. The knob turns smoothly, the dial adjusts. The speaker puts out a light humming amp sound, no music, the speaker crackles a little when the knob is turned. But once again, no music, or voice sound is coming from the radio set. So, overall, its for parts or repair-- or repurposing. This mesures approx.39 x 24 x 12 inches. It is heavy. So, Local Pick-up only-- ok? And, no returns on local pick-up.
