Vintage Philco 39-55 radio from 1939

Description

A Philco 39-55 floor standing radio from 1939. Has not been powered up for over 15 years
Cabinet is presentable but needs restoration from scratches and gouges
Electronics will need new capacitors an potentially other components.
All tubes installed - chassis clean with no rust
12 inch electro-dynamic speaker
Tuning dial works freely.
Missing some pilot lamps and station identifier labels as shown in the photos
This radio model was among the first to have an optional wireless remote control (not included) which operated at 400 KHz.
Local pickup only due to weight and size -  no returns or adjustments on this vintage unit.
