Vintage NY Central RR "Vanderbilt" Ice Cream Shell Dish & Creamer

Description

Up for sale are 2 pieces of New York Central Railroad semi-vitreous railroad china, both in the VANDERBILT pattern.  The first is an ice cream shell manufactured by the Ohio Pottery Co of Zanesville, Ohio, for the New York Central Lines.  Furnished by L. Barth & Sons, New York.  The bowl and rim are in very good condition without chips or cracks.  There are 2 chips on the bottom rim (see photo).  The second piece is a small creamer manufactured by Lamberton for L. Barth & Company New York.  There is a chip on the base (see photo).
