MONTGOMERY WARD'S TOMBSTONE TUBE RADIO  FOR SALE
MODEL 62-177
WE ARE SELLING THE FOLLOWING:
THE RESTORED  RADIO AS SHOWN IN THE GALLERY PHOTOS.  OUR TECH TOOK THIS RADIO APART AND REPLACED SOME  OF THE CAPS.  HE UPGRADED THE TUBES SO THAT THEY ARE ALL STRONG.  THE RADIO WORKS WELL ON AM WITH LOTS OF VOLUME AND PLENTY OF STATIONS ON THE DIAL.  I DID NOT HEAR MUCH ON THE SHORTWAVE BUT I WAS USING A SHORT ANTENNA.
ONE NOTE:  A PREVIOUS OWNER DECIDED TO USE A LITTLE GOLD ACCENT ON THE FINISH.
CONDITION:  GREAT WORKING RADIO.  CABINET HAS BEEN ACCENTED WITH A GOLD HIGHLIGHT TONE.
