    Description

    Vintage
    Leeds & Northrup model 2420-L
    light beam galvanometer
    Very Nice Visual Condition
This is a very cool vintage instrument.  It is mounted in a neat wooden case that appears to be oak.  Inside is a large horseshoe magnet, several lenses and a light source.  I am not really sure what it did or how it worked but it is very cool.
Although untested, it appears to be in Very Good visual condition.  The instrument, including the wooden case, measures 8 x 5" x 4".
A 6 volt transformer has been added to the exterior to provide a power supply.  It also has a resistor across the output terminals.
