    Description

    Offered for sale:  Vintage Japanese Katakuchi Tea or Sake Pouring Bowl - Hand Painted Tea Ceremony Bowl.
    Good Vintage Condition.  Slight hairline crack but the vessel does not weep or leak.  See last picture.  The gold rim around the top has a little wear and the bowl has age-related crazing.
    Raised gold gilt fruit basket features lovely multi-color fruit & leaves on one side, and butterflies on the other.
    Conch shaped bowl holds just over 2 oz. of liquids and measures approximately 4" L x 2.25" W.
