Vintage Crosley "American Overseas" tube radio 66TA Bakelite Works
Works (at least for AM) with strong signal and sound. Decent condition given the age. No cracks in bakelite case. Cardboard back is falling off and otherwise not in great shape. The wires on the back broke off, so I soldered replacements on. Case is very dull - not sure if these were glossy when new, but I would guess? Label is mostly there on the bottom. Inside is rusty in many places. The plastic is not in great shape - warped, yellowed, scuffed, but not cracked. There is a plant seed stuck behind the plastic - i didn't try to remove it. It is very loud with good reception (certainly better for AM than anything modern).
I really don't know much about this even though I have had it for 20 years. I brought it up slowly on a variac for the first time in at least 5 years and ran it for at least an hour at various voltages.  It works on AM, but I didn't get anything but static on shortwave (is shortwave even broadcast?).  Happy to answer any questions or take further pictures.
