    Description

    Vintage Bakelite radio (1946) - GE "Model-100" - reddish brown - good condition. This radio turns on, but doesn't lock on a station (you'll just hear static). A friend who knows electronics removed the back panel and said that all the tubes are lighting up, so he suspected a faulty capacitor. The radio is in good shape, it just needs to be cleaned up, and someone who likes to tinker could get it working again or, another option, many people are retro-fitting these old radios with new/modern electronics and enjoying a more modern sound through the cool, retro exterior.
