Vintage Art Deco 1940s Philco Bakelite Tube Radio - Beautiful Condition

Description

This is an exceptionally clean vintage Art Deco 1946 Philco Tube Radio Model 46-420.  It has a 6-tube superhet chassis and an internal antenna.  Its bakelite cabinet has a unique design with all rounded corners and a bold horizontal grille.  The on/off and tuning knobs are on top of the cabinet.  Because of its design, this radio is called the "Hippo".  The dial is in near mint condition.  There are no breaks, cracks, or chips in the brown bakelite cabinet.  The cabinet is super clean and has an original bright shine.  The radio is not working so please get a technician to bring this radio to playing condition.  Please review all the pictures, they are a part of my description.  Please ask any questions before bidding.  The radio is being sold AS IS and without warranty.  The approximate dimensions are 11.50" W X 6.25" H X 6.75" D.  Your radio will be safely packed and insured when shipped.
