Vintage 1946 Philco Model 46-460 "Hippo" Bakelite Tabletop Tube Radio -Off White

This is an oldie but a goodie.  A vintage 1946 Philco tabletop "Hippo" 46-460 tube radio in off-white.  The knobs are brown bakelite.  Lovely "hippo" grill design - like the old cars of the 1940's!  There is some factory paint loss (you can see the brown underneath) in some areas, but overall she's not in bad shape for her age.  The cord is somewhat brittle and cracked in areas so please keep that in mind when plugging it in for testing.  The plug is in good condition however. I carefully tested it and it does work (believe it or not - photos don't lie!) however there is a hum. This is an as/is purchase - issues have been disclosed to the best of my knowledge - this radio is 70+ years old.  Please view all photos and ask any questions prior to purchase.  Thanks for looking.
