Vintage 1940s Sears Silvertone Wire Recorder Console + Astatic Bullet Microphone
Vintage 1940's Portable Sears Silvertone Wire Recorder Console with is a Astatic Bullet Microphone without its stand.
Interior is in good condition, with the only negative being the singular knob which is worn and bent in slightly. Slightly dirty inside. Exterior is much more worn, with visible corrosion on parts of the outer case. There also appears to be a dent on the left side of the outer case. The leather carrying handle is cracked, but is fully usable. The latches are also visibly worn. The microphone is in great condition, with only slight wear on the top yellow part of the microphone.
Both the unit and the microphone are untested, however when plugged in the unit does power up and make noises.
This item is HEAVY, weighing in around 35 pounds total.
