    Description

    This is a vintage Montgomery Ward Airline radio, model 62-425.
    Has a very cool art-deco wooden "Indian Head" tabletop case (speaker grille looks like the silhouette of a chief's warbonnet. It has been refinished some time long ago and still presents well. The radio does work and tunes in several of my local stations quite strongly. Capacitors have recently been replaced for reliability. Some of the tubes are still original Wards branded. This is a nice example of a classic radio that won't take any work to enjoy just like it is!
    Tubes will be removed and packed separately from the radio chassis for shipping.
