The back stamp is easy to read and is pronounced. The flea bit to the left of the logo is about 1 cm in width and the other one near the handles is a little smaller than 0.5 cm.

    Description

    Very Rare Early & Original Colorado Midland Railway Ice Cream China Dish ca. 1890
    Vitrified John Maddock & Sons England China. No LTD on the back stamp which typically indicates dates before 1896, before the company became private and limited by shares.
    Classic painting for this rare piece of Colorado Midland Railroad China
    Dimensions: 5 ¼” from handle to the other end.
    4 ¼” wide from the edge near the Midland logo to the other side.
    Height = 1”
    Weight = 142 grams
    As many collectors know The Colorado Midland China was reproduced by the Sterling China Company.
    If you look at the designs on this and compared to the reproduced version, you can see the red paint design differences.
    You will also notice that the Colorado Midland Railway logo is near the edges of the piece in the original version and in the center in the reproduced.
