    Description

    You are buying a complete original US post-Vietnam era M1 Helmet.

    Shell is a rear seam swivel bail with heat stamp of 1 7584
    . It has the correct Vietnam type airborne chinstraps that snap to the sides of the liner; they are 'P' marked on the buckles. Liner has a Firestone crown mark, is contract dated 1968, and has the Airborne A-yokes and web chinstrap. 1974 dated leather sweatband is still soft, and nape str
    ap is present. Cover is a Mitchell camo type dated 1974, and is held by the elastic camo band with cat eyes. This was assembled by us out of all USGI parts, to represent a mid-late 70s airborne M1.
