US Army Vietnam Era Helicopter Painted Flight Helmet Named Grouping APH-5 Pilot

Description

This is a grouping of two Vietnam era APH-5 helicopter flight helmets. Both helmets appear to have not been stored in the best conditions, as a result they do have condition issues but still remain in tact. The interior of the helmets are quite brittle and deteriorating. The exterior and visors have scratches and honest wear as seen in the photographs.
One helmet is painted gold and has a tinted visor with some overspray on it. It has the boom mic in place. This helmet has quite a bit of deteriorating inside, particularly to the headphones. The leather covered pad is no longer pliable and has become quite fragile.
The other helmet has very nice original paint work on it. It portrays the American flag as well as a name on the back. The visor cover is painted in red, white, and blue. This helmet comes with a clear visor affixed. The interior is missing the leather covered padding and the white foam has deteriorated.
Both helmets have the original tags with the DSA numbers.
