Description
This popular pattern is called Winged Streamliner and was used on Union Pacific Railroad dining cars. The body is white with a gold overglaze stripe and a line drawing of the train in a circle in the center.The teapot features the train on both sides of the body. Stands approx. 5 1/2 inches tall to the top of the lid finial and 9 inches spout to handle. Near mint condition! Gold overglaze is in excellent condition.
Sterling China manufactured this in 1979.
