Union Pacific Railroad Winged Streamliner Cup and Saucer Sterling Ch

Description

This popular pattern is called Winged Streamliner and was used on Union Pacific Railroad dining cars. The body is white with a gold overglaze stripe and a line drawing of the train in the center.
The cup features the image of the train on the opposite side from the handle, rather than facing the user. Sterling China manufactured the cup in 1985 and the saucer in 1984. Cup stands approx. 3 inches tall and the saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter. Gold is excellent on both. Near mint condition.
