    Make that trip while Amtrak still runs- but you won't likely ever see dining car china in use anymore.
    Here you have a chance for a Union Pacific small platter in their Blue and Gold decoration.  These were stock- the age and source from where it came make me see the UP connection.  Scammell's Trenton did not use any date marks, but there is both the decalled backstamp and an impressed stamp also present, which indicates manufacture in the 1920s-30s.
    It has light wear, the gold overglaze pinstripes have small imperfections but are largely intact and clear. In great condition for being at least 80 years old.  What that platter saw outside those dining car windows....
    Measures about 8 1/2" long, 6" wide.  No chips, cracks or crazing.
