Two Vintage 1940s Westinghouse Little Jewel Refrigerator Radios For Restoration

I am selling two Westinghouse Little Jewel radios for restoration or parts. The black example was ivory and has had most of the paint removed but not polished yet. They left the ivory paint on the inside. This radio has its handle and knobs not shown in the picture but I have them and they are reddish brown. The grille cloth is the only missing item on this radio and the case is not damaged other than the paint removal. You can finish removing paint and polish the black or it could be primed and repainted. I have done this right much over the years with good success. The ivory example is complete and has good grille cloth. The handle and knobs are there as shown. The case may have been repainted ivory. I have not taken it apart. There is a crack in the left side bakelite at the top behind the handle pivot. It could be filled sanded and repainted and is stable and not a problem for handle use. Or maybe you have an extra left side form another radio to replace it. This is often done as the side can be detached and another used unlike a single bakelite radio case with a crack. So with a repair you have one complete radio with good cloth but some paint work. The black case radio needs grille cloth and attention to the case with removed paint. Both radios are assumed to need electronic service and one needs dial cord for sure. Al the tubes are in place but not tested. I have all these tubes and could provide any you find you need at a nominal cost if you ask during restoration. Good opportunity for someone who regularly restores the Little Jewel.
