However, we were recently contacted by a former Missouri Pacific Railroad Collector who is downsizing his large Railroad Collection of Signs, Dinnerware, Silverware, Lights, Water Coolers & RR Lanterns... more. That is why we are offering this beautiful vintage collection of 4 PULLMAN COMPANY Railroad Dinner Knifes made by International Silver Company!

This is a Vintage Serving Set of FOUR (4) Dinner Knifes for the Pullman Railroad Company.
Each of the
FOUR
Tableware Knifes are clearly marked on the handle side with "THE PULLMAN COMPANY" lettering.
NOTE
: The Pullman Company Knifes us the "Roosevelt" Pattern. These Knifes were crafted by the "INSICO" (International Silver Company)
What a special Collection of actual Dinnerware that was used on the Pullman Company Train Service!
The Pullman Company, from its humble beginnings in the late 1860s by George Pullman, became the face of the passenger train industry during the Golden Age of rail travel through the first half of the 20th century.
The company became famous for its passenger train cars, especially its sleeping cars. During rail travel's peak several railroads chose Pullman to equip their entire trains (and many railroads were proud of this fact by stating that their trains were "All Pullman" equipped).
The Silver Sheen / Patina on all the Flatware Knifes are still very. (You could polish if you like, but the current Patina is great!)
Details on the Item
:
- The Dinner Knifes measures approximately 8
1/2
" long.  This is the "Roosevelt" Pattern!
- The Dinnerware was actually used on the
Pullman Company Railways
and does show some wear, spotting & micro-scratches - just as you would expect vintage Silverware that was really used over & over.
You can judge from the Photos, but the overall condition is very, very good. There are no chips, brakes, cracks or Bends.
- Each Serving Piece has is marked for the Pullman Company Name & is labeled by the manufacture "INSICO."
Appearance:
- The Silverware KNIFE Set is in very good condition, apart from the normal wear & brush marks. The Blades are still pretty clean, apart from some light spotting, minor soft scratches & vintage wear.
- PLEASE NOTE: A couple of the Photos (like #1 & #7) seem to show a 'Red Tinge' on the edge of the Silver Handle, that is just a reflection from the surroundings... there are no "red coloring" on the actual Pullman Knifes... Just that High Quality International Silver Plate with its reflectivity. (Thanks)
The 4-Piece Dinner Knife Set will be packaged very carefully with the proper padding to insure the item is Protected while being Shipped!
