    Description

Stromberg-Carlson 125-H Art Deco 1936 Table Radio RARE COLLECTIBLE
She's a beauty! And a stellar example of the amazing cabinet styles coming from Stromberg-Carlson pre WWII.
This Stromberg-Carlson Art-Deco beauty is a stunning radio; it would be very difficult to find a better example anywhere.
It has a beautiful two-tone real wood cabinet that has been expertly refinished with clear and black lacquers.
The dial is back-lighted, and emits a magical glow.
The 125-H is a large tabletop style radio, presenting the trademark Stromberg-Carlson octagonal dial of that era.
This model is highly desired and relatively expensive, and much sought after by collectors, as they are rare and are a glistening example of pre-WWII Art Deco style!
Electronically a 5 tube receiver, this radio set delivers the AM Broadcast band and two shortwave bands with loud and clear audio, due to it's impressive superheterodyne patented electronics.
The electronics restoration in this set, (filters and paper caps replaced, resistors checked and replaced as needed,  and tubes tested, full tuning align, etc.) has been carefully completed, and she's ready to enjoy!
