This listing is for a Fair to Good condition, pre-owned Vintage STERLING CHINA Pennsylvania Railroad PRR Purple Laurel Pattern Service Plate.
Produced by STERLING CHINA in East Liverpool, OH.  Estimated circa 1920-1950's (+/-).
Pattern was produced for exclusive use in PRR Dining Car service.  Piece is railroad backstamped.
Piece exhibits reasonable signs of handling, use, or wear, consistent with age and normal dining car service use.  Moderate utensil marks noted.
No chips, cracks, crazing, or other known defects beyond those noted below.
May exhibit minor flea bites, transfer, decorating, glazing, or mold blemishes.  Kiln riser marks & mold blemishes noted.  Random areas of age-darkening noted.
Piece is marked with appropriate combination STERLING CHINA hallmark and PRR Keystone backstamp on bottom as shown in photos.
Measures 6" diameter at base x 9 3/4" diameter at rim edge x 1 1/8" high.
