Southern Railroad Dining Car Bouillon Soup Cup Piedmont Pattern Buffalo China

Very nice Southern Railroad dining car bouillon soup cup in the Piedmont pattern made by the Buffalo China Co. This dinnerware bowl measures 4" in diameter and 2 1/4" tall. The concentric ring pattern is still very bright and clear.
There are three stilt or kiln spur marks on the bottom outside below the gold ring, typical of pottery pieces supported for glaze firing; these are shown in the photos above.
This Southern Railway bouillon soup cup in the Piedmont pattern is in very good vintage condition, with no cracks, chips or repairs. It does have some wear around the rolled lip consistent with age and use in a commercial setting, as shown in the photos above. Great piece of railroad dining car history to use or to display in a Railroad Collection! Would make a great gift for a railroad collector!
