You are buying an
8 1/4” tall STERLING SILVER OVERLAY GLASS PITCHER CIRCA 1910.  This piece is the old thick overlay not the painted on thin later stuff. This pitcher is blown with a ground pontil on the bottom and applied handle. There is a floral and vertical line pattern on the glass. There is a monogram J on the silver under the spout.
The
condition is very good
no chips, no cracks, no silver overlay losses or coming up, no sick glass, and no split in applied handle. There are just light use scratch wear to the bottom underside.
