SCAMMELL'S LAMBERTON CHINA Pennsylvania Railroad PRR Purple Laurel Pattern Demi Cup & Saucer Set.
Produced by SCAMMELL'S CHINA in Trenton, NJ.  Estimated circa 1920-1950's (+/-).
Pattern was produced for exclusive use in PRR Dining Car service.  Pieces are railroad backstamped.
Pieces exhibit only minimal signs of handling, use, or wear, consistent with age and normal dining car service use.  No discernible utensil marks noted.
No chips, cracks, crazing, or other known defects beyond those noted below.
May exhibit minor flea bites, transfer, decorating, glazing, or mold blemishes.  Kiln riser marks noted.
Pieces are marked with appropriate combination SCAMMELL'S LAMBERTON CHINA hallmark and PRR Keystone backstamp on bottoms as shown in photos.
Demitasse Cup measures 1 1/2" diameter at base x 2 1/4" diameter at rim edge x 2 1/4" high.  Measures 3 1/4" across rim edge and handle.
Saucer measures 3" diameter at base x 4 5/8" diameter at rim edge x 5/8" high.
