    Description

Up for sale are four (4) Syracuse China (Onondaga Pottery Co.) dinner plates.  California Poppy pattern.
    I am "borrowing" from a fellow ebayer a little history behind the plates/pattern . . .
This pattern was designed for Fred Harvey, the restaurateur/hotelier who operated hotels/restaurants along the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railways and for the Santa Fe itself. "California Poppy" was a copyrighted pattern made by Syracuse China for those two clients only to be heavyweight commercial dinnerware. These pieces are designed to be heavy, diner-style tableware
Each plate measures approx. 9 3/4" in diameter.
Regarding condition . . .  Previously owned.  Lightly used.  No nicks, chips or cracks.  Nice glaze.  Under the right (wrong?) light you will see some slight utensil wear
Bidder is responsible for shipping and handling.  S&H includes postage, insurance and a nominal amount to recoup some of the cost of the bubble wrap and packing peanuts
NOTE: I will be offering US Priority mail and FedEx ground as shipping options
