What does it do?
An inverter is what converts electricity from a solar current (DC) to a current you can use (AC). A charge controller is what keeps a battery bank charged and maintained so that it behaves exactly as you need. This system does both. It is designed to work with an array of solar panels and batteries (neither of which are included in this listing) so that you can be completely off-grid.
Why are we selling it?
This system was at the heart of our solar array and battery backup we utilized while starting our farm and building our home. We've since upgraded our home to a grid-tied system with our battery backup which required new equipment. It was an incredible system that served us well. Our electrician has been inside and out of this system and has confirmed it's fully functioning and ready for continued use.
Brand new versions of this system are only available on backorder and sell for over ,300 plus substantial freight shipping. However, I'll cover the cost of shipping this item.

Midnite Pre-Wired Schneider SW4048 System w/ Kid Controller
MidNite Solar pre-wired inverter systems offer a turn key solution to installing a battery based inverter system, saving you time in the field. With a pre-wired solution all of the confusion is taken out of selecting all the right parts. This system uses the Schneider Electric Conext SW inverter that is rated at 4,000 watts and uses a 48 volt battery. It produces 120/240 volts AC.
