Description
This auction is for a rare vintage 1942 RCA VICTOR VICTROLA tube radio with record player. It was called a Magic Brain model for its features at the time. It was made at the start of WWII by RCA know as there 1942 ANNIVERSARY version. It is in super nice cosmetic condition the original burl oak wood I think only has some surface nicks but shines very nice. I was able to get reception on 2 bands and only 2 stations the volume was very low so it will need some radio repairs. The chassis looks very nice and clean may have been rebuilt and the audio amp tubes are 6V6s. The knobs and the lettering are all very nice. The record player also works but its volume is also low maybe a tube. This radio weighs about 100 lbs and I will remove at least the tuner and record player for shipping. The shipping cost listed is for REFERENCE only and will depend on your zip and how you want it shipped. I prefer Fedex. I will be listing the tubes only from 2 antique radios Philco 40-185 and a Slivertone 16152. I will provide more photos. Email me for any questions.
