RARE vintage tube radio GENERAL ELECTRIC portable "SUPER 650" red 1949-50 WORKS

I obtained about 80 tube radios from an estate sale.  SOME VERY RARE.  I will be listing these over the next few weeks so please see my other listings.
RARE!  NONE OF THESE HAVE RECENTLY SOLD OR ARE CURRENTLY FOR SALE ON THIS SITE.  Good chance for a collector.
This listing is for a General Electric "SUPER 650" portable radio.  A VERY EARLY BOOMBOX in dark cherry red.  Made in either 1949 or 1950 per radio museum.org.
Condition:  WORKS.  I was able to tune in multiple AM channels without issues.  The cord has no shorts or cuts.  The insides are pretty clean.  I believe this used to have a battery that is no longer with the unit.  The outside has no chips or cracks.  The outside has light wear but will probably clean up nicely.  Both knobs work as they should.  The back door locks right in place as it should.  The leather strap shows age but isnt cracked on the underside and still functions.  I am not sure if the dial is supposed to light up.
These radios are highly collectable and are getting harder to find online.
It will be protected well and insured.
