Lovely cream-white, pink, and pink-mauve colors with a beautiful form design to the cup that shows a gentle gripping knob to the flat top edge of the handle, an upper
rim trimmed with decorative embossing, a
flying pink goose with a black beak, feet, and wing-feather trims
to one side, a scene with
two trees behind a shadow of a mountain peak to the other side,
and with the cup slopping inward to a base rim for secure place seating in the saucer.
The saucer shows a matching goose, scene
and embossed trim.
The saucer
is 4.6 inches wide, the cup is 2.6 inches wide at the mouth, 1.6 inches wide at the base, and 2.45 inches high.
Both together weigh 8.5 ounces.
(No chips, no cracks).
Sharp appearance and lovely gloss to the demitasse cup and saucer set (with a minuscule dark pin-point dot-glaze-over flaw-to the deep inner cup) with a fine decorative embossed pattern to the lips, with a cream-white background color, elegant mauve-pink colors to the lips, mountain, trees and clouds scene, and with black details to the flying pink goose; with two painted backstamps to the saucer: In black, a flying goose illustration insignia and "The Traveler, Designed especially for Milwaukee Road Dining Car Service" and in green, "Syracuse China Econo-Rim 11 V, Trademark Patented" to the underside.
