    MAJESTIC Model 71 Tall Boy vacuum tube radio in very good condition. Working radio - needs long antenna to pull in stations but that was common for the vintage of this radio. Tubes power up and audio has minimal hum. Remote power supply (below tube chassis). The side view of the cabinet shows two "pull for on - push for off" switches. The upper is the antenna and the low is the power supply.
    Vertical rotating dial assembly. Serial number 7A-53159 from 1928 per radio attic archives. A 1931 ad showing  Majestic radios included below.
    Beautiful wood is in very good condition - see pictures - from a smoke free home. I believe I am the second owner but cannot confirm. In my possession for over 30 years. Previous owner in southern Missouri. The manufacturer was Grigsby-Grunow, Chicago, ILL. if you are interested in further internet research. The Radio museum posted pictures and power supply schematics.
