RAILROAD-MISSOURI-KANSAS-TEXAS (MKT) KATY ORNAMENTS DINNER PLATE NOT BACKSTAMPED
Offered today is a dinner plate from the Missouri-Kansas-Texas (MKT) railroad in the Katy Ornaments pattern. The plate features an attractive design of six ornaments around the rim. The plate does not have any striping around the rim, as pictured on page 189 of "Richard Luckin's book Dining on the Rails". The plate is not railroad backstamped but does have the man'f, Lamberton Scammel, and the man'f logo, and the words, "Made in America". The plate is approx. 9 1/2" wide, and is in very good condition, no chips or cracks,or repairs; a few usage marks in the center and a couple of small hard to see dimples.
