RAILROAD-GREAT NORTHERN SILVER SOLDERED GRAVY BOAT TRIPLE MARKED
Offered today is a silver soldered 5 oz. gravy boat from the Great Northern Railroad. The gravy boat is triple marked with the "GN" letters on each side of the rim, and on the Bottom it is marked "Great Northern RY". Also on the bottom is the man'f. name, "International Silver" also on the bottom are the words, "Silver Soldered, there is a number 05082, also the number "5", and the letters "oz.", and a date code of "1946". This silver was used with the GN's Glory of the West and Mountains and Flowers china. The gravy boat is in good condition no dents, but shows its' age. There is a heavy amount of use marks, and dings all over the gravy boat. The side logos are still readable with some wear, and the bottom marking is strong. The silver still holds a nice shine.
