This is the rarest of rare! Own a piece of history! Possibly the only one of its kind in existance!
I purchased this RadioBar about 33 years ago in Rochester NY, home of Stromberg Carlson. This was purchased at a high-end multiple estate auction, and was listed as belonging to a "Prominent Rochester Family." (Rumored at the auction to be the Carlsons)
In over 40 years of collecting antique radios I have never come across nor heard of another with the Stromberg Carlson works, as most are Philco.
This includes all the original glassware in excellent condition; shot glasses, rocks glasses, small and large drink glasses, bitters with top, shaker with top, and liquor decantors with tops.
Cabinet is in excellent, unrestored, all original condition, with minor scuffs and scratches. As a dealer/collector I kept it unrestored to preserve both its history and value. The only thing that is not original is the lock on the liquor door. (As I purchased it)
The radio worked when played 2 years ago, including the lights on both the cabinet and the radio dial. Green "magic eye" works as well. It has not been plugged in for 2 years, as the power cord is brittle from age and has cracked down to bare wire so I have not risk plugging it in. The cord does need replacement.
