PRECISION MODEL 107C "PROFESSIONAL" RADIATION GEIGER COUNTER - 1950'S-1960'S

Up for sale is this fascinating vintage Radiation Geiger Counter made by Precision Company.  This is Model 107C, also called the "PROFESSIONAL".  Made in the late 1950's to mid 1960's during the height of the Cold War Nuclear War scare.  This piece was quite often used by military and government radiation construction, as well as testing, services.  A great piece of US history during the Cold War!  The piece has a brown leather case but the top is detached and split.  Rest of leather case is clean with clear graphics.  Has metal handle and detecting wand.  Instruments and knobs seem to be in good condition.  Needs a new battery so it does not turn on and was, therefore, not tested.  Could use a bit of a cleaning (not too bad at all but mentioned for complete accuracy!).  A great and quite hard to find piece!
