Packard-Bell Model 602 Radio

Description

Cosmetically restored, but probably not working.  I know exactly two things about electronics:  how to test a tube, and don't give old units full power at once.  So, I own a tube tester and a variac.  The tubes test very strong.  I tried slowly bringing the radio up on the variac, but couldn't get the tubes to glow, or any sound at all, so I quit before I got to full power.  Usually, at about 30w, you'll hear something and see a little orange.  That leads me to think the hang-up is somewhere early in the chain.
Everything inside and underneath looks intact.  The speaker is wobbly and it'll probably need mooring.  The numbers on the dial are worn off on the left side, but a new dial can be had for .
This model is fairly rare, and in working condition, they can fetch about 0.
