NEW YORK CENTRAL RAILROAD
Restaurant ware maker's mark on the back Syracuse China
10" diameter dinner, dining passenger plate from NYC
This is vintage restaurant ware made from white china with grey band around the edge and logo NYC.
There is a date stamp marking on the back but the ink has run together so I'm not certain of the vintage year 1950's or earlier.
It is heavy weighing almost 2 pounds not wrapped so please keep that in mind when paying ship cost.
Condition see photos. I cleaned the white china in solution so it removed much of the old discoloration. There are still signs of age and use wear, since this plate was really used on the railroad, in the dining car with passengers.

NOTE - there is a small chip along the rim opposite the NYC logo side. It is about 1/2 inch on the side.
Also some age and use scuff marks and imperfections many of which are probably original to when it was made. Please be sure you are ok with all, including the small nip chip on edge before buying. Considering its age and that it was really used, I think it is in good condition. It is pre-owned, being sold "as is" as was found for your collection.
