The SureSine™ is a 300 watt pure sine wave inverter (12 volt DC input) designed specifically for remote off-grid photovoltaic (PV) systems.     The attached photo is of a Tucker "Sno-Cat" panel which was modified to support computers and communications. This vehicle recently completed the GRIT (Greenland Inland Traverse), covering over 1,400 miles on the Greenland ice cap. There is 170 watts of PV mounted to the roof of the Tucker which runs through a Morningstar charge controller to the vehicles heavy duty batteries. Many of the loads were run off of straight DC to prevent any conversion losses. The Morningstar inverter took care of the small AC loads (computers, etc.). Since this vehicle towed the living module for the crew, more batteries were mounted along with the Morningstar inverter in the coach, so they could also have AC/DC power. Those batteries were in parallel to the vehicle batteries so all shared the loads and charging inputs. This system bounced across the ice cap for a couple of months, getting cold soaked every night and heated up every day. Never a problem developed, and the crew loved the system.     Exchanges or Returns
    Please contact us before returning or exchanging an item to receive a return authorization (RA). Items returned to us without receiving a return authorization will be returned to you at your expense. We accept exchanges and returns for unopened items or damaged/defective products within 30 days of receipt of shipment. A 20% restocking fee may apply to multiple quantity returns or large ticket items. A 20% restocking fee

    Unopened Products
    To make an exchange or return for an unopened product, please contact us and obtain a Return Authorization. If the exchanged or returned product is unopened with all original accessories, manuals, packaging, and/or shrink wrap, you will be responsible for return shipping. If the product was sold with free shipping, shipping charges to deliver the item will be deducted from the refund amount. A refund to your method of payment will be processed within one week of receiving an authorized return minus any applicable shipping charges.
    Damaged/Defective Products
    To make an exchange or return for a damaged/defective product, please contact us and obtain a Return Authorization. If the product is returned for being damaged/defective, we will provide a return shipping label for domestic shipping costs. If we test and confirm the product is damaged/defective and receive the product along with all original accessories, manuals, and packing, we will provide a refund for the purchase price of the product, plus domestic shipping charges, if any, assessed at the time of purchase. International shipping charges, if any, will not be reimbursed. A refund to your method of payment will be processed within one week of receiving an authorized return. If we test and confirm the product is in full working order, a refund will not be provided and you will be responsible for providing a return shipping label to have the product returned to you.
