If you have a Shapeoko XXL you know it does not include mounting or fixture plates and how difficult it can be to secure your project and material. Our custom fixture plates by Ohio Diesel Parts will solve this major problem with over 600 mounting positions you can easily secure any shaped or sized material in place for milling. Precision machined counter-sunk holes are 5/16”-18 NC Course thread size (most common size). Threaded mounting points are positioned on a 1.5” x 1.5” center-to-center grid. You will receive 2 plates total. (Same size as stock boards)
Note our plates designed with a hobby end-user in mind. This is CNC machined with Alpase micro-sheen K100-S precision cast jig plate aluminum plate. Tolerance for flatness is within .015'', and for thickness the tolerance is +/- .005'' within 1/2". These are specs from our metal supplier. If you need plates with a tight tolerance, please contact us for details prior to purchase. This is solid aluminum that will not bend, or warp like wooden mounting boards.
This does NOT include any fixture clamps or studs. If you have questions about where to buy studs and clamps please contact us. You can find studs and fixture clamps on websites like mcmaster.com or eBay.
Fixtures studs and clamps are shown on a Shapeoko 3 as reference for mounting and are not included.
Please be sure you are buying the correct size, we offer plates for the standard Shapeoko 3, the XL, and the XXL. Shipping is expensive due to size and weight and full refunds will not be provided for in-correct ordering.
