    Description

    Turquoise glaze flared bowl with matching underplate made by Leon Volkmar for Durant Kilns circa 1915.
    The footed bowl has a wide sweeping flared rim. Both the bowl and the underplate are glazed in turquoise with green shading.  Both pieces  haveheavy crazing in the manner of Dedham Pottery.
    Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
    The underplate is 7" diameter, the bowl is 5 1/2" diameter at the rim by 2 1/2" tall.
