Large Japanese Kutani Vase - Signed on Bottom.
A Japanese Kutani porcelain bottle vase of typical bulbous form resting on a short foot and rising to a waist-ed cylindrical neck with everted mouth, decorated in the typical Kutani palette of overglaze enamels with a continuous scene of Chinese scholars and their attendants in a formal garden with towering mountains in the distance. The base painted with a running Fuku seal, an illegible decorator's mark, an impressed mark reading "Kutani" and a factory seal.
The item is in very good condition overall with some wear but no damage or repair. Please see photos as part of description.
