    Description

    Japanese Kutani Punch Bowl - Meji Period (1868-1920) - Signed. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. This deep bowl features finely painted peacocks that are detailed with gold overlay. The boarder is decorated with various sacred objects. The exterior is surrounded by peonies and prunus. Exceptional detail and artwork throughout. On the foot rim there is a small area of manufacturing flaw (kiln grit that later sluffed off) that does not show in the front. Diameter is 10 5/8" and overall height is 5 1/2 ". The art work and execution of this piece is of the highest quality. A great decorative addition to any collection.
