Description
James Kent manufactured fine china in the Old Foley potteries district in England. Rosalynde was one of their most popular patterns and was revived with after ownership changes. These four dishes were made in the first production - between 1930-1940 before the globe or registration marks. The delicate rose chintz pattern is very bright with vivid colors and the gold edge trimming is pretty much intact except for a few small spaces on one dish. There are no chips or cracks on 3 dishes. One dish has a small chip on the underside and two fine cracks. There is crazing on 3 of the 4 dishes which would be normal for this age. One dish is currently listed at 33.99 on another site specializing in china and crystal. I have reduced the price because of the one dish flaws. (The dark marks on the base edges are felt residue.)Please Note: All Buyers must pay thru PayPal. I try to describe all of my items as completely and accurately as possible and provide many photos from various angles for your inspection.
