James Kent Ltd Old Foley "Golden Mosaic" Cream and Sugar

Description

Cream and sugar made by James Kent Ltd in Staffordshire, England.  The pattern is a mosaic of bright colors including pinks, greens, blues, and yellows with a golden circle design overlaying the colors,  There is gilding around the top edge and the bottom edge of both the cream and sugar.  The handle of the creamer also has a gold line on the sides.  The marking shows James Kent Ltd Old Foley Staffordshire Made in England Golden Mosaic 5577. Pieces are approximately 2 1/2" high and 3 1/2" - 4 1/4" across.  The top of each piece is oval in shape.  There are no cracks or chips on either of the items and are in very good shape.  Based on the markings, the pattern appears to date from the mid-1950's and is just lovely.  It appears that the Golden Mosaic pattern is less common than other patterns from this same company.
