    Description

    I can't tell if this is an antique.  The mark suggests it is from c. 1910-1913, but the only sign of age is the crazing in the glaze, which is hard to see with the naked eye.  The bottom of the plate doesn't show much wear.  There are marks from two firing stilts on the lower rim of the plate, as if it were fired standing on edge.  It is a large size, so if it's truly antique, it would have been a serving plate.  There's a graceful upward curvature to the octagonal flange of the plate, it is a lovely thing overall.
